About Our Presenter: Ofelia M. Uribe is a bilingual storyteller, performing arts instructor, and living history educator who brings culture and history to life through the arts. Her work is informed by her B.A. in International/Intercultural Studies from Northeastern Illinois University and her years living in Latin America, Europe, and the U.S. She currently serves as a docent at Reflections of Manatee and volunteers at the Manatee Village Historical Park. Her collaborations include the Sarasota Ballet, Sarasota Art Museum, and Cre-Arte Cultural Center. Ofelia is also a retired criminal investigator for the U.S. Department of Justice.
