Reflections of Manatee Museum Tour

Immerse yourself in the rich multicultural heritage of Manasota, where you will explore a living museum that narrates different eras and cultures. Our docents and archaeologists will present fascinating stories of the Native Americans, Freedom Seekers’ Settlement of Angola, the Cuban Fishermen, the influential Curry family, and other pioneers, highlighting artifacts discovered in excavations and a tour of the historically restored homes. After the main tour, an optional excursion is offered to the historic Manatee Mineral Springs, a key archaeological site within walking distance.
