More About Chef Amalia Based in Sarasota, Florida, Chef Amalia is a distinguished private chef with a rich culinary background. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America at Universidad Anahuac del Sur in Mexico City, her expertise has been honed over 25 years, earning her the status of an elite personal chef, food connoisseur, and innovative food designer. Her journey in the culinary world has taken her from her birthplace in Guadalajara, Mexico, to various locations including Indianapolis, Puerto Rico, and finally Sarasota, where she crafts gourmet experiences for her clients’ special moments and celebrations. Beyond her culinary achievements, Chef Amalia is a former MasterChef Latino contestant, a TV personality, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. She is also the president and founder of Alianzas Networking Mujeres Profesionales, an international networking group for Hispanic women, boasting over 820 members.
